Q. Any suggestions on how to personalize the mats for our clients?

A. In most cases the last name is used singular and without the possessive. For example, use REYNOLDS instead of THE REYNOLDS or REYNOLDS’. Another popular idea is to use the address, like 19 BIRCH ROAD. Keep in mind that using all capital letters also tends to offer a more finished look.

Q. How long until my clients receive their mats?

A. It depends on the mat its production process. We have made it easier by stating shipping dates on each mat header page. All shipping is via FedEx or UPS. Please keep in mind that neither FedEx nor UPS will deliver to P.O. boxes. Also, please expect to add a week during the holiday season.

Q. Is your site secure?

A. Certainly! We are on Yahoo! stores. Additionally, our Privacy Policy ensures that your information will never be used by others without your written permission.

Q. Can you ship to multiple addresses on a single order?

A. Yes, simply note this on the order form at the end of the shopping cart in the 'multiple shipping address box - ship to mutiple addresses here by simply giving us full address and phone numbers for each client and tell us which mat goes to each address – we normally do multiple address orders for various house closings at the end of the month and have done up to 38 different, personalized mats to different client addresses with one order!

Q. What size or type mat should I choose?

A. The carpet/Berber mats are ideal for indoor entrances and the cushion mats are ideal in the kitchen where one may stand for a length of time. The larger fiber, rubber and metal mats work well outdoors and create a nice entrance to a foyer or porch. The rubber and metal mats in particular will both impress high-ticket clients and last the longest which is great for more referrals year after year. Our double-door doormats are ideal for large entrances, larger foyers and/or offices. Oh, and our Coir mats are thick and gorgeous!

Q. Are the mats guaranteed?

A. Yes, Yourdoormat.com mats are guaranteed to be free of defects in materials or labor for a period of one year from the date of purchase. Of course, any exposure of our mats to abnormal wear or abuse will void the warranty. This warranty applies to the original purchaser only.

Q. How do I care for my mat?

A. Instructions on how to care for your mat are detailed in the product listing and also come with each mat.

Q. Where are your mats produced?

A. Mats are sourced from all over the world but we are proud to say that all our mats are personally customized in the USA. They will arrive from Virginia, Michigan and PA.

Q. How will my clients know the mats are from me?

A. If you would like to write a special message to your client, we now offer convenient Gift Announcements. On the left side of the home page click the Gift Announcements tab. Then simply use the Icon to print this page out, personalize it, and bring it to your house closing, drop it by or mail it to your client or friend!
